The carriage and wagon department is currently developing and our aim is to display and operate items that would have run on the route through Kirkby Stephen East. We have a small group of volunteers who work on individual items which are privately owned. New volunteers who want to work on these items are most welcome and we run a midweek working party on a Wednesday in addition to our normal weekend opening times. If you are interested in this work please contact our carriage and wagon manager via the secretary.
